Month of Mary - Queen of France by Fr. Marin de Boylesve

After the success of his publication The Blessed Virgin According to the Gospels, Fr. Marin de Boylesve, S.J. (1813-1892) wrote a new set of thirty-one meditations in her honour:

Month of Mary ~ Queen of France.

On this occasion, he concludes each enlightening Biblical reflection with fascinating accounts of the history of Marian devotion in France, from approved apparitions to the myriad of shrines dedicated to her, showing that the Mother of God is truly the Queen of the Eldest Daughter of the Church.

This first ever English edition includes a biography of the author, 45 illustrations, annotations, and informative appendixes concerning the Brown, Blue and Red Scapulars, also, the Chaplet of the Ten Evangelical Virtues.  Certainly, a treasure to add to your spiritual library.

About the Author: Fr. Marin de Boylesve is best remembered in France for spreading devotion to the Sacred Heart with his writings thereby promoting the cause for the construction of the Sacre Coeur Basilica in Paris.
